Happy bidding, we look forward to working with you. If you are the bomb on this job then we are also ramping another e commerce project and need a fresh site created in something, likely Drupal on windows base but open to discuss options since as mentioned we are not web guys!! 10 MS SQL Databases In a Windows Hosting environment, nothing beats MS SQL Server, and we have them all SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2015 and SQL Server 2019. Once we have the base site and content back we are happy to restore or redevelop the missing or broken links in the site as it is well overdue for a rework at any rate. With the easy to use DotNetNuke Installer you can install an unlimited number of DotNetNuke Portal sites. We would like to restore the server into the azure cloud, will buy you a blank canvas so to speak, then park the DB file and flat file restore on the server awaiting your restoration. Sadly we are infrastructure architecture guys not web guys and don't really have time to troubleshoot the restorations so here we are.
#INSTALL DOTNET NUKE WINDOWS 10 HOW TO#
We restored our flat files over the server and the site was reborn and alive for 3 days more but was then compromised again while we were trying to work out how to get it upgrades then once our provider scrubbed and recreated a fresh site and app pool but we couldn't manage to get the site live again with flat files only, likely just a case locked files that didn't come down like the ODBC connections or some security permissions. We understand the compromise to be a flaw in the DNN version and the server patch levels of our ISP, sadly to make it worse when we asked our provider to roll to the previous known good backup 5 days earlier, we found they don't seem to have any backup. In addition we have a relatively recent database backup which is really where the content resides so hopefully any restoration issues should be broken links or mis displaying visual content. The site is a very static thing for us, it hasn't changed for a significant time and we have a flat file backup from the last modification we have done but it may or may not be fully comprehensive. We have previously had a full website running under Dotnet Nuke 5.2.3 which through our old ISP was exploited and had the java script hacked as an intermediate redirect to deploy bots. The challenge and the reward, restore our site and roll it forward to current patch release
